SMALL GROUPS
At Cokesbury, we believe that God designed us to be in community with him, with other Christians, and with the world. For us, Small Groups provide that community. When you commit to being a part of a Small Group, it won’t be long before you realize that life really is better together.
Small Groups invite us into deeper conversations and relationships with others who want to know and follow Jesus. Groups of up to 12 people gather weekly, currently using an online platform, outside the normal structure of weekend worship.
We form new Small Groups periodically throughout the year. Use the link below to register to receive an email when new Groups will launch.

TEACHING GROUPS
Teaching groups are led by a facilitator. Groups gather to learn through Biblically-based study and class discussion. These groups meet during the week or on Sunday. All Teaching Groups are currently meeting virtually.

FOR EVERYONE
Flourish: Practices for Spiritual Growth - Flourish is a new year-long Teaching Group designed to help us learn and flourish in our relationship with God. Each month, beginning in February, Charles Maynard will share a short video that introduces the practice that we will consider for the month. We will also have a monthly Zoom discussion group, and reading assignments. We will be referring to our bibles and to the book Celebration of Discipline – The Path to Spiritual Growth by Richard J. Foster.
This group will continue throughout 2021.
To be a part of this group, purchase the Foster book from your favorite bookseller and register here to receive the monthly videos and links for the Zoom group discussions. Discussion groups will be held on the last Tuesday of each month at noon and the last Wednesday of each month at 7:45 pm.

Love is the Way: Holding on to Hope in Troubling Times by Bishop Michael Curry (known for officiating the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan) facilitated by Linda McLaughlin and Debbie Ailey Wednesday mornings starting January 13th from 10:30 - 11:30 via Zoom. Purchase the book at your favorite bookstore.
Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer, facilitated by Nancy Hamilton will begin January 11th at 6:30 pm via Zoom. All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you. This study will help you to be strong in the Lord, helping you to develop a strategy to put the enemy back in his place and for you to suit up, stand firm, and secure victory in your life.
FOR MEN
Monday Mornings at 7 am Brent Ronald uses the Discussion Guide found on the Cokesbury App to discuss the weekend’s message. Viewing the weekend's message is not required.
Wednesday Evenings at 7 pm facilitated by Bob Goodson
Second Thursday of the Month at 8 am Monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast is meeting virtually via Zoom.

Join this Email Group to receive weekly emails of creative date night ideas (even in the midst of a pandemic), tips for communication, and links to resources from relationship specialists.
Daily Bible Reading Plan – Start your day with a short reading from the Bible and an "apply it" question or topic to consider. Emails are delivered each morning and readings correspond with weekend sermons, when possible.
